Hydrogen: The new energy horizon

A large part of the conventional energy industry is shifting from its usual carbon-based feedstock to new resources. Renewable, recycled and other sources are now seen as a new source for fuels and feedstocks. Hydrogen is one of those new sources. Ahead of two roundtables at StocExpo Europe’s innovation theatre, Mark Oosterveer, programme manager at iTanks, explains why hydrogen is part of the future for the energy industry

It is almost inevitable that the use of hydrogen as a fuel or as a feedstock will significantly increase over the coming years. You only need to do some quick internet research on three Dutch industrial hubs Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Terneuzen, to see that things are moving quickly.
