With the pressure on for more storage capacity around the world, Moda Midstream has space to expand. However, as its CEO Bo McCall reveals, growth plans must be flexible as well as prudent.
LIQUID terminal provider Moda Midstream completed its 10 millionbarrel crude oil expansion in April, adding 495,000-barrels of tankage at its facility at Moda Ingleside Energy Center (MIEC) in Texas, USA.
The company was able to bring this project around six months ahead of schedule, at a time when storage capacity is in high demand.
The company is now working on a further 3.5 million barrel construction and expects to start commissioning tanks at the end of 2020.
