Europe’s next petrochemical chapter

Thousands of industry professionals from the global chemical business community including chemical producers, suppliers, customers, chemical supply chain and other service providers gathered to inform, debate and shape Europe’s next petrochemical chapter as scrutiny over emissions climate change and plastic waste increases.
More than 2,500 delegates attended the European Petrochemical Association’s 53rd Annual Meeting in Berlin to discuss how the industry is transforming to deliver sustained economic growth against a more challenged social, political and environmental landscape.
Opening the meeting, EPCA president and executive vice president at Arkema Marc Schuller shaped the theme for the meeting by inviting attendees to ensure that the industry response is keeping pace with the level of transformation required.
