Dilanka Seimon has joined US midstream storage and transport company Energy Transfer as vice-president of its Alternative Energy Group.
Seimon will develop alternative energy and carbon capture projects for the company along with environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) initiatives such as carbon offset programmes. Seimon joins the Energy Transfer from BHP, where he spent eight years as its vice president global sales & marketing, oil, gas, power & carbon. He has also worked for Southwest Energy, Wells Fargo Commodities and Sequent Energy Management. He has a degree in economics and finance from Georgia College & State University and an MBA from Duke University. He completed Harvard Business School’s General Management Program in 2018.
