UK bulk liquid storage specialist UM Terminals has appointed Vic Brodrick as its new commercial director from 1 May 2021.
Brodrick was previously a sales strategy consultant and has an extensive background in the oil, aviation, shipping and logistics sectors, including with Essar Oil, Peel Ports and Peel Airports.
UM Terminals operates eight terminals with a capacity of more than 300,000 m3. It handles more than 40 products including vegetable oils, industrial, food and feed, chemical, fertiliser, fuels, biofuels and base oils. The company recently announce a new strategic growth plan to build on the investment is has already made in upgrading its facilities and operations, which includes increasing storage capacity to more than 400,000 m3.
‘The business is at an exciting stage with an ambitious strategic growth plan. I have also been hugely impressed by the culture, customer-centric approach and can-do attitude of the company since I first joined as a consultant in November 2019,’ says Brodrick.
