The International Liquid Terminals Association will hold its 2021 Annual Operating Conference and Trade Show on 4-6 October 2021 in Houston.
The 2020 show was cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The show is usually held earlier in the year but has been delayed slightly in 2021.
‘In the longer term, we plan to return to our traditional May or June timeframe for the show,’ says ILTA president Kathryn Clay. ‘But given the current environment, we decided that moving the event to later in the year would give our exhibitors, speakers, and attendees better certainty for their planning purposes.’
ILTA says that many events in Q2 2021 are already being cancelled, with organisers attributing their decisions to the expected time required to develop and distribute a COVID-19 vaccine.
“We were fortunate to work with our partners at the George R. Brown Center and the Marriott Marquis in Houston, to secure these new dates. This decision positions us to provide the high-quality experience that our exhibitors, partners, and member companies have come to rely upon each year. ILTA is looking forward to bringing our industry back together in person next year for three days of educational enrichment, networking and demonstrations of new goods and services,’ says Clay.
