Skytanking Holding’s Australian subsidiary is now operating the aviation fuel storage and hydrant system at Sydney Airport, Australia.
Skytanking Australia signed a contract, effective from 1 October 202, with Sydney Airport Corporation, following an extensive international public tender process. Sydney Airport is Australia’s busiest and has one of the highest fuel throughputs in the world. Skytanking now manages a fuel system supplied by truck and pipelines, comprising 29,000 m3 of Jet A-1 storage and 11,000 m of underground pipelines connecting the storage to more than 170 apron hydrant pits.
‘Sydney is Skytanking’s first operation in Australia. It represents another milestone in the company’s global goal to be the preferred aviation fuel handling partner for airlines, airports, and oil companies,’ says Gerard Reumer, CEO Skytanking.
