The StocExpo Europe conference in Rotterdam is now CPD certified and features a new format focused on greater networking opportunities.
All sessions will begin with speed networking – a concept where delegate will be encouraged to introduce themselves to other people at their tables and to exchange business cards. This roundtable approach and networking lunches are designed to ensure delegate maximise their networking opportunities.
The three day conference programme will comprise seven expert panel sessions hosting over 30 speakers from oil majors, tank terminals and financial institutions.
The terminal management session on day one brings together senior executives from four of the top independent terminals in Europe: Oiltanking, Odfjell, Vesta Terminals and LBC Terminals. They will joined by Laurent Hatzopoulos, manager of third party storage at Shell Trading.
They will discuss terminal efficiency, new investments and ways to increase throughput as well as regulatory compliance.
The second panel will focus on terminal safety and features speakers from VTTI, NuStar Energy and world safety expert Ian Travers.
The third panel will examine growth and investment opportunities throughout the Mediterranean with talks from Decal Spain, Tepsa and EAPC.
The second day will be dedicated to global market trends and their impact on the storage sector including supply and demand dynamics, oil price, the refining sector, the US shale oil market as well as the impact of the lifting of the US’ export ban.
An investors’ perspective is also provided for delegates with talks from Zenith Energy Management and iCon Infrastructure.
The morning of the third day will focus on tank storage in Asia as well as examining China’s role in the region. The afternoon will look at the latest technical innovations in the section, including an interactive presentation on the role of drone technology in inspecting tanks.
