Rubis has been given the green light to compete the full acquisition of Société Réunionnaise de Produits Pétroliers (SRPP) from Shell and Total.
The company markets fuels, LPG and lubricants in Reunion Island and owns and operates the main storage facility and other logistics used to supply the island.
Both Shell and Total owned 50% of the company each. In 2014, the company’s turnover reached €250 million.
Through this acquisition, Rubis is building up an established presence in the Indian Ocean and extend its activity to fuel distribution with the advantage of integrated logistics.
