CLH has reported a turnover €270.6 million in the first quarter of 2015, an increase of 10% compared to the same period in 2014.
The acquisition of CLH Pipeline System in the UK, formerly called the Government Pipeline and Storage System, which started operations in May contributed 5.8% while the remaining increase has been slated to the growth of the domestic market.
Deliveries of oil products from CLH facilities in the first half of 2015 totaled 20.5 million m3, an increase of 5.9%.
The Group also increase its investments in the first half of 2015 to €148.3 million compared to €23.3 million recorded in the same period of 2014. This is mainly due to international investments such as the UK acquisition as well as the performance of the logistics infrastructure construction project in Oman.
The remaining amount – €26.6 million – was allocated to investments in Spain. A total of 72.2% was spent on storage and airport facilities, mainly focusing on operational and safety improvements, building new centers and the expansion of storage capacity.
