Insights into the local and international tank storage sector will be examined and discussed at the 2015 Tank Storage Asia conference.
The two day conference at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands on September 29 and 30 will start with Tushar Tarun Bansal, head of oil, East of Suez at FGEnergy discussing how the shale revolution in the US has resulted in a shift in global trade flows as well as the emergence of the African market.
As previous reported, Tan Wooi Leong, vice president for oil and gas at Jurong Consultants will discuss the use of underground storage caverns as well as a floating storage concept to match the growing demand for storage.
Rajiv Biswas, HIS chief economist at Asia-Pacific will analyse the risks and opportunities in the current evolving economic and energy-based landscape across Asia while Yaw Yan Chong, head of oil research and forecast at Thompson Reuters Singapore will examine the new sulphur emissions regulations.
Elsewhere, the conference will also look at improving terminal efficiency and how port developments across Asia and their impact on storage strategies.
In addition to the conference, the exhibition currently boasts more than 60 suppliers from across the world.
