Huaying Petrochemical Company has started construction work on a fuel terminal in China.
According to IHS Maritime 360, the project started earlier in July, and will include three 2,000 tonne wharf terminals. The 300,000 tonne fuel terminal will be located in Huaying’s fuel blending and distribution centre in Dayawan Bay in Guangdong province.
Once complete the terminal will have the capability to blend different types of industrial fuel and bunk with various types of oil including imported heavy oil, residual oil and formula oil.
The project will develop a fuel blending and distribution centre in South China with an annual production capacity of 10 million tonnes.
