An open season for committed capacity was announced by Plains All American Pipeline for a proposed pipeline from Cushing, Oklahoma to Longivew in Texas.
The proposed pipeline will originate at the Plains Cushing, Oklahoma Terminal and will provide an initial capacity of around 120,000 barrels per day of light sweet crude to Longview in Texas.
The open season allows potential shippers to offer long-term volume commitments for service from Cushing to Longview in exchange for a discounted rate.
Bidders are offering to enter into a long-term throughput and deficiency agreement for pipeline capacity. The open season lasted for a day on June 23.
