VNT terminal handled more than 10 million tonnes of petroleum product during 2014 – breaking its 2013 record.
The terminal in Ventspils, Latvia, handled 10.58 million tonnes of petroleum product during last year, up from 2013 when it handled 9.64 million tonnes of cargo.
Last year’s performance was in line with the terminal’s business plan, and primary commercial agreements continue to be in place.
The terminal, which has 105 tanks that store products including crude, gasoline, jetfuel and kerosene, is jointly owned by VTTI and a major local partner.
The terminal is the only facility in the region to offer butanisation of gasoline. It is continuing to expand its services such as loading of products into road tankers and rail tank cars as well as extension of product types in its portfolio.
