Independent transloading service provider and oilfield consumables handler Wildcat Minerals has opened a new frac sand and proppant transloading storage facility in Hannibal, Ohio.
The expansion into this key unconventional play enables the company to store over 10,000 tonnes of proppants, receive barges, and unit trains.
The Hannibal facility is fully operational and currently receiving barges and shipments of frac sand and proppants. The site is also unit train capable.
Steve Herron, Wildcat’s co-founder and chairman says the company is ‘very excited’ to open its first transloading terminal in Ohio and its first barge capable facility.
Wildcat Minerals currently operates 18 dry bulk and proppant storage facilities and fluids transloading terminals in ten states.
