Midstream energy partnership Enterprise Products Partners’ natural gas processing facilities resumed operations on 4 September after all its South Louisiana-based sites were closed ahead of Hurricane Isaac.
The Acadian natural gas pipeline system is also operational and Enterprise says its fractionators are either up and running or prepared to receive natural gas liquids.
Other, third party infrastructure operators which utilise Enterprise’s assets in South Louisiana are at various stages of getting back up and running as they continue to tackle high water and power issues. The Dixie and Lou-Tex pipeline systems are operating normally.
The company’s offshore facilities affected by the hurricane have been deemed ‘capable of receiving feed from producers’ after assessments showed they sustained no significant damage.
Michael Creel, president and CEO of Enterprise’s general partner thanked employees and service providers for their ‘tireless efforts and commitment to safety in preparing for the storm and responding to its aftermath’.
