Privately help commodity supply, trading and logistics company Musket has completed the expansion of its crude-by-rail facility in Dore, North Dakota.
The terminal can now deliver as much as 60,000 barrels a day of crude oil from North Dakota, up from its initial 10,000 barrel per day capacity. The oil will go on to be distributed to markets across the US.
The terminal will receive oil from trucks and pipeline through a connection to Banner Pipeline.
‘The increased capacity allows Musket to deliver more efficiency to customers needing services from rail loading and supply chain management to price risk management and end markets,’ says JP Fjeld-Hansen, Musket’s MD.
The company’s Dore facility first opened in 2008, employing 20 people. This expansion will require additional workers, creating jobs for a further 30.
