Spain’s largest storage operator, CLH, will invest approximately €100 million during 2012 to expand and improve its infrastructures.
The majority of the budget – €58 million – will be dedicated to the storage sector, helping CLH expand its current storage facilities. Of this €58 million, €27 million will go towards a number of expansion projects and operational improvements, while a further €16 million will be invested in environmental protection and safety.
CLH has also set aside a further €15 million that will aid the completion of is new facilities currently under construction in Castellanos de Moriscos, Salamanca, and Almodovar del Campo, Ciudad Real.
CLH says it has earmarked more than €24 million to extend its pipeline network. €12 million of this will go towards the construction of a pipeline network between the Torrejon de Ardoz-based storage terminal and the Madrid-Barajas airport. The remaining €16 million will be used to expand and enhance the CLH Aviacion facilities.
