Tank Storage Asia expo & conference is now back for the third time at the KLCC in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 7-8 December 2011. The two day conference & expo, organised by market leading Tank Storage magazine, brings together storage terminals, traders, oil majors, ports, industry experts and equipment suppliers to discuss the issues impacting storage operators in Asia.
This year’s key speakers include Ahmad Mokhtar, commercial director at VTTI, Ong Eng Tong from Mabanaft, Aiman Abdullah, project director at Seaport World, Malaysia, Amos Ang, risk engineering manager for marine at Zurich Asia Pacific and many more.
Last year’s successful event proved the level of interest in the bulk liquid storage sector in Asia and Malaysia is the ideal location to bring the major players together. Because terminals in Singapore remain full and space remains limited, expansions continue to centre around Johor.
At the event delegates will be given an update on the key terminal projects in the region. These include the Far East Oil Terminal at Pasir Gudang with 230,000m3 of storage, operated by Feoso and Cosco.
