A proposed oil transshipment and storage terminal in Liepaja, Latvia, on the Baltic Sea coast, and the company building it are being sold by Inlat Plus.
The terminal will ship and store base oil, light and dark oil products, with a blending capability. The planned annual transshipment capacity is about 1.56 million tonnes.
Expected total construction costs are about 15.8 million.
The terminal will consist of a railway overpass for 2×15 tank cars; dark oil products tank battery (five base oil tanks of 1,000m3 capacity); three 5,000m3 residual fuel tanks; and a clean-up tank of 400m3. There will also be two petroleum tanks of 5,000m3, and three 5,000m3 diesel fuel tanks.
The terminal has received the environmental impact assessment and the construction project has been received.
