Chinas largest refiner Sinopec has started installing commercial crude oil storage tanks in Cezidao in Zhejiang province, east China.
The storage base, including 13 tanks each with capacity of 100,000m3 and one tank with capacity of 500,000m3, is planned to be completed in May 2011.
The project is expected to meet demand of large petrochemical companies in Yangtze Delta area.
Sinopec is also building a commercial crude oil storage tanks in Tianjin with capacity of 20.1 million barrels and another one with capacity o f 11.8 million barrels in Guangdong province.
