Lithuanian oil terminal Klaipedos Nafta has got off to a good start this year with a 400,000 tonne rise over for the first six months of the year over 2009 H1 loadings.
Loadings reached 4.1 million tonnes. In June alone, Klaipedos transhipped 670,000 tonnes of oil products, almost the same as a year ago, when it reloaded 666,000 tonnes.
Klaipedos, which mostly ships exports of oil products from Lithuanian, Belarusian and Russian refiners, is seeking to expand business with Belarus.
Last year Klaipedos reloaded 7.7 million tonnes of oil products after a record 8.2 million tonnes in 2008.
