Texan independent oil terminal operator Arc Terminals has expanded its presence into the Gulf Coast by completing the acquisition of two terminals in Mobile, Alabama, from Dunhill Terminals.
The two terminals are located at the port of Chickasaw and on Blakely Island in Alabama and have a combined storage capacity of 1.5 million barrels of storage with marine, rail and truck access.
Arc will continue to service the existing customer base and pursue third parties to lease the available storage space at the Chickasaw and Blakely Terminals.
With this acquisition, Arc Terminals now has ten terminals located in eight states and a combined storage capacity of 3.6 million barrels.
Arc Terminals eight other terminals are located in Virginia, North Carolina, Illinois, Ohio, South Carolina, Wisconsin and Maryland.
Arc Terminals funded the transaction through a capital investment from Lightfoot Capital Partners.
