Arabian Chemical Terminal Company has awarded a contract to EPC firm OlayanDescon to build a 36,000m3 storage facility in Jubail Industrial City over the next 18 months.
The deal is estimated at SR187.5 million (37.5 million) for design, engineering and procurement.
This facility will be used for storing a variety of chemicals before export or import from the industrial port. Arabian Chemical Terminal Company is the bulk liquid chemical storage and handling arm of the local Saudi Brothers Commercial Company.
OlayanDescon is a joint venture of Saudi Arabias Olayan Saudi Holding Company and Pakistans Descon Engineering.
