Confusion over port boundaries has had an impact on the export of fuel in one Russian region.
Fuel oil exports from the Rosbunker terminal in Baltysk in Russia's Kaliningrad enclave on the Baltic coast have been blocked by customs authorities in a row over demarcations.
The block on exports follows an order, issued late last year, by the Kaliningrad region's border authorities acting on an inaccurate definition of Kaliningrad's port boundaries. The boundaries had been reviewed in October on instructions from the Russian government.
As a result the terminal has lost over $1.5 million (1.08 million) in business since the end of December, reports say.
