One phase of Fujairah Refinery Company Limiteds (FRCL) expansion plans will enter operations soon.
Black oil storage capacity of 140,000m³ should be ready by May or June.
The news marks the companys commissioning of a new tank farm and a return to full production at the 80,000 barrels per day (bpd) refinery.
The new tank farm, which is close to completion, already has a capacity of 564,000m³ of bulk liquids.
Independent oil storage player, logistics handler and trader Vitol bought a majority stake in the Fujairah Refinery in May 2007 when the refinery had been mothballed.
It has been expanding storage at the site and bringing the refinery back into production.
The refinery has and will continue to produce fuel oil suitable for the bunker market, a FRCL spokesman says.
