Russian oil is finding its way into more eastern European countries.
Naftoport, a Polish oil terminal in Gdansk, could be on the receiving end of tankers holding 200,000 tonnes of Russian oil this month.
The arrival of the two unscheduled ships is yet to be confirmed, Naftoport CEO Dariusz Kobierecki comments.
Gdansk may arise as the victor in an ongoing feud between Russian and Belarussian refineries.
Russian oil and gas giant Transneft has told oil firms to re-route one-third of flows scheduled for Belarussian refineries to the Polish port.
In 2009 around 4 million tonnes of Russian oil were transported through Naftoport.
