Latvian energy company Ventspils Naftas terminals division transhipped a total of 8.5 million tonnes of crude oil and petroleum products in the first nine months of this year.
Ventspils Nafta termin?ls results came about amidst the poor global financial climate and repair works on the main petroleum products pipeline from Polotsk-Ventspils, in the territory of Belarus, which had been planned by the authorities of Russia and Belarus.
Consolidated net turnover of Ventspils Nafta Group was LVL 53.4 million (76 million) for the period January-September, 2009, with a net profit of LVL 0.7 million.
