War-torn Iraq has suffered an act of sabotage on an oil export pipeline.
Insurgents targeted the northern region pipeline passing product to Turkeys Mediterranean port of Ceyhan.
Exports have been suspended, Iraq ministry of oil spokesman Assem Jihad says. Technical teams have been sent to the site to carry out repairs but we do not know how long it will take.
The damaged caused on 21 November is the third act of sabotage against the pipeline in two months.
Overall acts of sabotage reduced oil exports in October by 4% compared to September, the ministry confirms, with volumes falling from 1.95 million b/d to 1.87 million.
