StocExpo Europe conference & exhibition has selected Antwerp, Belgium, to host Europes largest event covering oil and petrochemicals storage, handling and distribution markets.
StocExpo Europe will take place on 30 March 1 April 2010 at the Antwerp Expo Centre.
Antwerp is one of Europes largest petrochemical centres with a number of world class, modern refineries located within the port.
The companies in the Antwerp petrochemical cluster are interconnected by more than 100 pipelines that account for 52% of all transport between them and also between the industrial operations and the independent tank storage companies.
The port holds more than 3.6 million m3 in independent storage capacity, with over 1,474 storage tanks.
In 2009, over 2,500 attendees heard key industry representatives discussing growth and capacity in the region and looking at the drivers for this increased demand.
They also visited the accompanying exhibition, which in 2010 will again showcase the latest advancements in equipment and service provision for the sector, featuring over 200 service providers. This exhibition is FREE to attend for all.
