Two kerosene storage tanks at the Iranshahr oil terminal in Iran have been damaged by fire.
The fire, which started on 27 June, was still burning two days later in the storage tanks with a capacity of 2.7 million litres of kerosene.
Although there were no injuries in the fire, local and neighbouring fire forces endeavoured to extinguish the blaze.
The size of the damage is being determined and the reason for the fire is being identified, director of the Iranian company which distributes oil products in Chahabar province Aliasgar Abbasi comments.
The oil terminal is located 5km outside the city of Iranshahr. The terminal composes six storages with capacity of 16 million litres of kerosene and oil.
