The Guanxi Petrochemical Company, a subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation, has completed work and has begun operations at the 100,000 tonnes grade crude oil terminal at the Qingzhou Port in China.
The terminal is an auxiliary facility for the 10 million tonne a year refining project at Guanxi Petrochemical. The terminal has an L-shaped offshore layout and is connected to the coast by a 240m-long trestle.
The terminal has a total length of 609m, with a 492m by 36m platform for mooring at both sides. The outer side has two 100,000 tonne crude oil berths and the inner side has two 5,000 tonne and 3,000 tonne refined product berths.
