TEPSA, a leader in the Spanish chemicals storage sector, is looking to improved infrastructure and growth in the biofuels sector to drive its future expansion.
TEPSA (Terminales Portuarias S.L.) is one of the leading names in Spain’s chemical products sector and a key provider of third party storage capacity. Headquartered in Barcelona, it is an independent company specialising in the handling, storage and forwarding of all types of bulk liquid products. It operates four terminals located at Spain’s main strategic ports, with three on the Mediterranean – Barcelona, Tarragona and Valencia – and the fourth at Bilbao in the north of the country.
The company’s president, Jacques A. (‘Sacha’) Nahmias, has been involved in the storage business for 30 years. Mr Nahmias has been a director of the company ever since 1979 and was appointed Chairmanin 2002, having held a similar position at the French company Propetrol (now part of Rubis Terminals). TEPSA’s managing director, Luis Sala, has worked with the company for almost seven years, having previously developed his career in the chemical industry.
