STOCEXPO PREVIEW
We are hugely
excited about
StocExpo
Europe 2006," says Peter
Patterson, the show's
Managing Director. "In 2005
many companies just came
to visit rather than
committing themselves to
taking a stand. They
obviously liked what they saw
since exhibition space is
almost sold out for this year's
show, with 80% more stands
than in 2005. Most 2005
exhibitors have rebooked and
in some cases have
significantly increased the
size of their booths."
Word has most definitely
spread about this unique
event in Europe, and the
organisers expect the show to
get bigger and better. "We are
particularly excited about the
number of companies that
have already pre-registered
for the conference," says
Patterson. "Organisations
such as Exxon, Dow, Total,
Shell, Vopak, Chevron, SVG,
Odfjell, Petroplus and Den
Hartogh have already
registered to attend."
The organisers are also
delighted that John Mills,
Assistant Chief Officer of
Hertfordshire Fire and Service
Rescue will be a special guest
speaker at the conference,
sharing his experience of
dealing with the Buncefield
blaze last year.
"This promises
to be a captivating paper on
what was arguably Europe's
largest peacetime explosion,"
says Patterson. "Our only
hope is that the conference
hall is large enough to cope
with numbers."
Registrations can be made online
For those who can't make it
to the European event,
there's still the chance to
attend StocExpo Middle East in Dubai this September, at
